Benton Brothers (Transport) Ltd was established in 1908 in Boston, and is still a family controlled business, run by Managing Director Martin Benton. The fourth generation has recently joined the company, as Martin’s daughter Amy now works as a traffic planner.

 

Steady growth has seen the company expand its fleet to over 120 tractor units and 250 trailers, operating from the head office in Sibsey, near Boston, and a second depot in Immingham. Equipment operated from Sibsey is maintained at the company’s own on-site workshops.

 

Over the past 12 months Bentons has expanded its contracts with major shipping lines, food companies and paper importers. 

 

To support this expansion Axis has supplied curtainsiders, sliding and fixed skeletals on term agreements to match Bentons new business.

 

Like Axis, Benton Brothers attributes its success to providing courteous and efficient support to its customers, coupled with high maintenance standards.
