The Company is pleased to announce that at the Annual General Meeting held on Thursday 8 July, all proposed resolution were duly passed. Accordingly, the Company will now complete the purchase of shares in the Company from those shareholders who had expressed their interest in selling their shares and whose contracts to sell were approved at the AGM. Those shareholders will shortly receive in the post the necessary share transfer forms for execution. The Board will continue to welcome expressions of interest from other shareholders wishing to sell their shares. The Company also takes this opportunity of announcing the appointment to the main Board of David Potter, who joined Axis as Managing Director of our UK Truck and Trailer contract hire company in April this year. David was formerly Director of Operations & Engineering with DHL Supply Chain and brings to Axis the benefit of his wealth of experience in the transport logistics industry.”
